INSTRUCTOR(s)

 My name is Jamie Little. I'm the lead instructor for Backporch Firearms Training. I have been shooting guns most of my adult life and continue to learn new things about different firearms and training methods. There are several reasons for starting Backporch Firearms Training, but the most important to me is due to my late friend and mentor Mr.Tommy Carter. He believed in helping teach anyone who wanted to learn about guns and how to shoot them properly and safely. I remember the first time I saw him teach a young man (8-9 years old) how to break his clay pigeon on the skeet field. As I sat on the swing waiting on Mr.Tommy, watching the little man shoot his gun and miss. The little man yells "pull", shoots his gun and breaks the clay. A HUGE smile came across his face, sits his gun down and jumps for joy and yelling at the top of his lungs " I DID IT, I DID IT!!! He turns to Mr. Tommy and said "I want to do it again!!  Just seeing the smile on that little mans face was enough. This is what I want to do, help people from all age groups.    Doesn't matter how much experience you have.
